Offstage Asset
As a graduate of William Jessup University in Rocklin (a small school I'm sure you've never heard of), I learned how to create storytelling magic with a shoestring budget.
Over my four years I've worked on set-building, lighting, sound, and costume design. I've been an assistant sound technician in the front of house, and a stage hand in the wings. I've been tasked with props management and prop-hunting, as well as stage weapon maintenance. If it'll help tell the story, I'll get it done.

Beyond Acting
For the past 3 summers, I have worked as a writer and director for Studio Americana in Plymouth, wrangling upwards of 20 kids for 8 hours a day-- and trying to put up a show in a week while doing it. Writing for and working with these kids equipped me to think fast under pressure, keep a positive attitude in stressful situations, and create adventure out of everyday life.

Networking
From job fairs to audition tables, cold calls to curtain speeches-- my job as a student worker during my undergrad definitely took me some places I didn't expect. But it also helped sharpen my networking skills and business interactions. I've worked box office, given campus tours, and led performance groups in the department. I've reached out to surrounding high schools, and communicated with prospective students in the application process. And I've handled props and costume donations and rentals from donors and theatre organizations in the area. All of these helped round me out as a person, and taught me that the most beautiful moments in theatre rarely happen onstage.
